About
As a 3rd generation farmer at Spittal On Rule looking for diversification, it was natural for David Reddihough to consider an equestrian enterprise suggested by his wife Katie, a keen event rider.
Hydrotherapy fitted with their philosophy of non invasive treatment for horses whenever possible and the impressive results spoke for themselves.
With an outdoor school, Solarium, Salt and Oxygen Therapy stable and high quality stabling available, Hydrotherapy is the perfect treatment to compliment the equestrian facilities at Spittal on Rule Farm.
David and Katie have undergone extensive training with leading experts in the field of hydrotherapy, Tonya Willingham and Dr Matthias Baumann.
The horse’s performance and welfare is paramount and the aim is to fulfil their potential, whilst ensuring that strict procedures are carried out for bio security and hygiene within the rehabilitation area and stabling facilities.
This is a real family business with Harry and Chloe helping whenever they can, in between rugby and school commitments, while David and Katie are focused on making a success of this business, attracting clients from the Borders and beyond.
If there is any spare time in their busy life, the family can be found climbing Kilamanjaro, running in the Edinburgh Marathon, planning a new project in the garden or cheering on the home team at Murrayfield.
